Job Description and Duties

Under the general supervision of the Operations Branch Chief, the Supervisor II, Program Delivery and Communications Section Chief, provides strategic leadership over the Office of Health Workforce Development’s (OHWD) project management, communications, and digital strategy efforts. This position provides strategic oversight of complex, cross-functional behavioral health and related initiatives and projects, and supervises staff and contractors responsible for project implementation, internal and external communications, and digital tool development. The Supervisor II leads the development of standard operating procedures and tracking tools to promote transparency and efficiency. The Department of Health Care Access and Information incumbent collaborates with HCAI program and administrative partners—including the Office of Technology Services (OTS), Directors Office Communications, Legal, and Office of Administrative Services (OAS)—to ensure alignment with department priorities, technology infrastructure, and branding standards. The incumbent represents the Office in high-level stakeholder and interagency meetings, and advances inclusive, data-informed approaches to workforce development communications and outreach.

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) hours each month. Statement of Qualifications:

A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be submitted to apply for this position. The SOQ must be in 12-point Arial font, single-spaced, and no more than 3 page(s) in length. The SOQ must include responses to the following questions in numerical order; do not consolidate responses.
