Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - 1540 per week.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Nebraska Methodist Health System.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: - Mainly adults; few peds in the ER. - Covers inpatient, outpatient, ER, rehab, and sleep lab areas. - Draw ABG’s and occasionally do EKG; assist with intubations. - CRRT, IABP, CABG/AVR/MVR, TAVR, and lung surgicals. - Uses Drager, LTV, I-vent, V-60, and vapotherms. PAPR, CAPR and N95.

Shift & Scheduling: - Self-scheduling. - Every 3rd weekend. - Holiday rotation with permanent staff. - Call not typically required; 30Minutes response time.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
