Cost EstimatorSpecPro Sustainment and Environmental (SSE) is seeking a Cost Estimator to support Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Northwest (NAVFAC Northwest), Planning Design and Construction Directorate, Design Division (PDC4) in Silverdale, WA.The Cost Estimator will provide construction cost estimating and technical support for Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects throughout the NAVFAC Northwest Area of Responsibility.What You'll Do:Develop facility construction cost estimates and basis-of-cost documentation.Perform quantity takeoffs, industry and market research, and crew projections.Conduct cost, schedule, and risk analyses.Perform constructability reviews of engineering documents.Support life-cycle cost analysis of alternative systems.Review cost proposals, designs, technical documents, and other project deliverables.What You Bring:Minimum of three (3) years of construction estimating experience performing applicable tasks.Experience preparing basis-of-cost documentation and construction quantity takeoffs.Experience with industry/market research, crew projections, and cost/schedule/risk analysis.Experience conducting constructability reviews and life-cycle cost analyses.Demonstrated knowledge of broad-based engineering principles.Strong written and oral communication skills.Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid driver's license.Must be able to successfully complete required background and security screening.Minimum of three (3) years of applicable construction estimating experience required.Preferred:Background in an engineering-related field is highly desirable.All offers are contingent upon a thorough background check conducted on all final candidates, as deemed necessary and per State and Federal laws.What We Offer:SSE offers a competitive benefits package to include: paid holidays, paid time off including sick and vacation leave, medical, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, short and long term disability, company paid life insurance, 401(k) with a company match and discretionary profit sharing and tuition reimbursement.
