Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (current and valid certification required)
• Prior acute care experience preferred
• BLS certified (Pediatric and Neonatal BLS certifications advantageous)
• Proficient in a variety of respiratory therapies and diagnostic procedures
• Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Proven communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer a range of therapies, including aerosol, CPT, incentive spirometry, M.D.I, and oxygen therapy
• Operate and manage BiPAP/CPAP devices, ventilators, and alarms
• Perform EKGs, arterial punctures, blood gas analyses, and quality control duties
• Coordinate with Employee Health for procedures such as Fit Testing
• Maintain thorough records, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with departmental standards
• Support education through in-service departmental programs and assist as needed
• Ensure the safety protocols and operational standards are upheld in all practices
