Food Server

The Food Server provides an exceptional dining experience by delivering prompt, courteous, and professional service in a luxury hotel and casino setting. This role ensures that all food and beverage orders are taken accurately and served in a timely manner, adhering to company and department standards while creating a refined and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters teamwork and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with detailed knowledge of offerings.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and make recommendations for premium selections.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets luxury standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
• Handle payment transactions accurately and securely.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Work is performed in a (type of location, i.e., office, kitchen, restaurant, casino, etc.) environment and in other locations throughout the property. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases too loud. Additionally, smoking is permitted in casino areas consistent with Nevada state regulations, which are followed by the employer.
