Human Resources Manager

Location Devonshire by Erickson Senior Living – Palm Beach Gardens, FL (located on PGA National property). About the Role Senior HR Generalist who can wear many hats to provide a high level of customer service to employees and management. We are a very busy and engaging HR department looking for a HR Manager to join our small but mighty team of four. The HR Manager’s main responsibilities include being an SME for HR related competencies such as Employee Relations, investigations, FMLA/ADA, WC/OSHA, and health/wellness benefits to promote a culture of employee inclusion, high morale, and support our company Mission, Vision, Values, and Brand Promises. Confidentiality and the ability to build trust are critical. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a servant‑leadership mentality are required. Responsibilities Advocate and consultant for employees experiencing problems/issues that impact their jobs. Assist in responding to employee related issues in partnership with the appropriate line manager/supervisor. Deliver the New Employee Orientation update and maintain any relevant materials. Assist in the formation and interpretation of policies and programs. Track and ensure EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA compliance. Process Unemployment and Worker Compensation claims. Facilitate and coordinate employee communication to enhance the understanding and appreciation of benefits programs, including Health insurance, 401K and EAP. Process governmental filings and report employment issues. Coordinate employee event planning and employee development programs. Monitor employee appraisal process. Generate management information reports from Workday and UKG. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of progressive human resource experience. Experience with an HRIS program. Confident using MS Office, database software systems and programs. Knowledge of state regulations and requirements; specific state regulations take precedence over the requirements outlined here. Compensation & Benefits Annual salary: $75,000 (commensurate with experience).
