Route Sales Manager-Miami

Location: Miami, FL | Schedule: Full-time, field-based/on-site within assigned territory Overview An established, long-operating industrial hardware distributor is seeking a Route Sales Manager to operate a fully stocked mobile store that brings industrial hardware products directly to customers. The company serves a wide range of sectors, including transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, federal/local government, and heavy equipment industries. This role is central to the company's direct-to-customer sales model and offers the opportunity to build and manage a dedicated territory. What you'll do Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calling on businesses near existing customers Make face-to-face calls on cold and warm sales prospects Present products and services using sample boards, product demos, and the mobile store Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls Continually maintain customer contact information—including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses—using company software Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Must reside within the assigned territory Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle Must maintain a clean driving history Physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis Strong tenured work background with no job hopping; a maximum of 3 companies over the past 10 years is ideal Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment Preferred qualifications Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales, is preferred Why this role This position offers the chance to run an independent mobile sales operation, serving a broad and stable customer base across multiple essential industries. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group, SPG
