Hunt equipment to improve utilization of assets and control maintenance costs. Accountable for the coordination of maintenance repairs with our internal maintenance shops and outside vendors. The incumbent also handles sensitive and urgent/priority calls and must receive management approval for repair expenditures exceeding $1,200.00.Job Description:Key Responsibilities:Answer and manage routed breakdown calls, efficiently plan repairs, and provide timely updates to stakeholdersIssue Purchase Orders and process invoices for vendor paymentsMaintain the vendor profile by obtaining updated information and submit change requests to managementEnsure service compliance is metWork with vendors to ensure warranty is honored and parts retained when necessaryWork with vendors to ensure services are being completed in a timely manner and controlling costsProvide follow up to ensure problems have been handled in a timely mannerLocate the appropriate vendor closest to the breakdown to ensure minimum wait time, competitive pricing, and quality repairs to minimize cost; must receive management approval for repair expenditures exceeding $1,200.00Submit required estimates to equipment central teams and follow-up on pending approvalsMonitor open requests and coordinate with operations teams to reposition equipment for repair; reassign shops or vendors when necessaryPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent with 1-2 years of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, and/or military equivalentAND/OR Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiencesAbility to assess terminal workloads, adjust work distribution accordingly, and ensure deadlines are metAbility to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediumsAbility to process information with high levels of accuracyPreferred Qualifications:Automotive and/or diesel mechanic knowledgeExperience in Automotive ServicesAbility to establish and maintain effective relationships with personnel, customers and vendorsAbility to exercise discretionAbility to make time-sensitive decisionsAbility to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamAble to read, interpret, and analyze data in reportsExperience in a call center environmentExperience in invoicingExperience with collecting/documenting informationAbility to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgmentAbility to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations to provide excellent serviceThis position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.Compensation:Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
