Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of client progress, utilizing structured assessments and evidence-based methodologies to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide brief individual therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the needs of clients within the Family Resilience Program (FRP).
\n
• Monitor and document client progress rigorously, adjusting therapeutic strategies based on clinical findings and client feedback.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and develop cohesive treatment approaches that integrate various therapeutic perspectives.

• Utilize tools and resources available within the electronic health record (EHR) to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files that support continuity of care.
\n
• Establish and maintain rapport with clients, employing strong interpersonal skills to nurture a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Educate clients on coping strategies and skills necessary for navigating transitions and managing relational or behavioral challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, children, and families grappling with a range of concerns such as relational issues, behavioral challenges, and psychological disorders. A special emphasis is placed on fostering therapeutic relationships with clients affected by chronic pain and trauma, utilizing an integrated approach that recognizes the interplay between physical and mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A valid California LMFT license required to practice within the state.
