Our client, a well-established and growing law firm is seeking a California-licensed Associate Attorney- Civil Litigation in Sacramento, California. The attorney will manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution while working closely with experienced attorneys to develop case strategies and provide exceptional client service. Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Prepare for and participate in depositions
• Conduct and defend depositions as experience develops
• Argue motions and appear in court
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and litigation planning
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case developments and litigation strategy
• Maintain strong organization and case management across multiple matters

Qualifications:

• Active California State Bar membership and good standing required
• Prior litigation or law firm experience preferred, but not required
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, motivated, and willing to take ownership of assignments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $125,000-$175,000, depending on experience
