Associate Attorney

Practice: Plaintiff Side Employment Litigation We are seeking an ambitious Employment Law Associate Attorney to join a growing plaintiff side employment litigation practice. The attorney will handle single plaintiff matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower claims, and other California employment law violations. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of plaintiff side employment matters Investigate and evaluate potential employment claims Develop litigation and settlement strategies Draft complaints, discovery, motions, briefs, mediation statements, settlement agreements, and other legal documents Conduct and defend depositions Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations Communicate directly with clients and provide legal guidance Prepare cases for arbitration and trial Conduct legal research and analysis Manage litigation deadlines and case progression Stay current on FEHA and California employment law developments Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Active California State Bar membership and good standing 1 to 4 years of employment law experience Experience with FEHA, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, or wrongful termination matters Plaintiff side employment experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of California employment law and civil litigation procedures Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills Deposition experience preferred Strong organization and case management skills Ability to communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, mediators, and arbitrators Genuine interest in representing employees and developing as a litigator #J-18808-Ljbffr
