Jeff Abrams is looking for an Operations Manager to lead performance reporting and oversight activities for investment products for his client. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of fund and composite performance information used across client reporting, public materials, and internal reporting. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in investment operations, strong knowledge of performance measurement practices, and the ability to guide a small team through recurring and ad hoc deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Direct daily oversight of mutual fund performance reconciliations, pricing validation, and distribution control checks, ensuring all results are reviewed before release.

• Monitor performance-related information published on external web platforms and verify that displayed data remains accurate and current.

• Lead the preparation and quality review of monthly internal performance reporting for mutual funds and ETFs, confirming completeness across all required data points.

• Coordinate monthly production of model and composite performance materials, including asset and flow reporting, calculation support, and collaboration with Sales on breakout reporting and data transfers.

• Manage recurring client performance reporting activities and maintain composite records to support ongoing accuracy and regulatory alignment.

• Review growth and turnover calculations, approve monthly outputs, and oversee the timely posting of finalized figures to internal and external reporting channels.

• Supervise the submission of performance data to third-party providers and work with external vendors to resolve reporting issues or data discrepancies.

• Support annual presentation development, audit-related requests, product launches, tax gain and loss reporting coordination, and other special projects as needed.

• Coach and cross-train team members across daily, monthly, and annual workflows while promoting process improvements, including the use of AI-assisted tools where appropriate.

• At least 7 years of experience in investment operations, fund performance measurement, or investment reporting environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience calculating and maintaining performance records for mutual funds, ETFs, composites, or separately managed accounts.
• Working knowledge of industry performance standards and reporting practices applicable to investment products and composites.
• Prior experience leading, mentoring, or training small teams responsible for reporting or operational deliverables.
• Familiarity with external data vendors, reporting platforms, and coordination with third-party service providers.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate data exceptions, validate results, and escalate issues when necessary.
