Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Clearlake, California, United States. Start date: 09/07/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,551 to $2,660 per week. This travel - temporary assignment focuses on the Women’s Care Unit, supporting care from childbearing through geriatric years and newborns up to 28 days of life. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for women across the lifespan from obstetric care through postpartum, and for newborns up to 28 days old.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as appropriate, and assist with labor and delivery processes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment plans and ensure safe, evidence-based care.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and newborn care.
- Uphold unit standards of behavior and authority, and coordinate with the Women’s Care Unit leadership as applicable.

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity Women’s Care Unit
- Eligible for a travel assignment and able to meet assignment start date and duration
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate care with multiple disciplines and maintain patient safety
- Comfort providing care for obstetric patients and newborns up to 28 days old
- Adherence to unit policies and professional standards of practice
