Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR techniques, to assist clients in alleviating stress and enhancing their mental well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to recognize specific stressors, mental health challenges, and therapeutic goals.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that integrate mindfulness practices designed to address clients’ unique mental health concerns.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, such as meditation and breathing techniques, aimed at fostering emotional regulation and self-awareness.

• Organize and lead group workshops focused on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building, creating a shared learning environment.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including other therapists and health care providers, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

• Document client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment outcomes thoroughly and accurately to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and personal mindfulness practices to deepen your expertise in MBSR and therapeutic techniques.

In this role, your clients will consist predominantly of individuals seeking help for various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele, allowing you to adapt your therapeutic style to meet the unique needs of each individual. By fostering a safe and inclusive therapeutic atmosphere, you will help each client navigate their personal journeys towards healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Strong communication skills, possessing the ability to create a supportive environment that encourages openness and trust during sessions.

• Competence in applying mindfulness practices within therapeutic settings, with familiarity in integrating these practices into client care.

Preferred Experience\n
