Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to evaluate symptoms of eating disorders and any co-occurring mental health conditions, ensuring that treatment needs are accurately identified.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, setting realistic and attainable recovery goals in collaboration with the client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to provide effective treatment for eating disorders.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that challenge and reshape clients' distorted beliefs regarding body image, food habits, and self-worth.

• Guide clients in developing robust coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills, equipping them with strategies essential for resisting disordered eating behaviors.

• Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure holistic care and continuity of treatment across various aspects of clients' well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.
