Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to assess patients' mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans that may include therapy, counseling, and resource allocation.

• Engage with patients in therapeutic settings to actively listen to their concerns, provide psychological support, and assist in diagnosing mental and emotional disorders.

• Develop and implement effective treatment strategies and coping mechanisms to help patients address their trauma-related challenges.

• Regularly monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure the best outcomes for each individual.
\n
• Facilitate educational workshops and training sessions for both staff and patients regarding stress management and trauma recovery methodologies.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, social services, and community outreach programs to ensure holistic support for patients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and stay informed on the latest mental health practices.

This role primarily focuses on trauma patients, including those recovering from significant life events such as accidents, loss, and other emotional traumas. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification is required.

• 3+ years of professional experience working with trauma patients or in similar mental health settings.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication purposes.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective patient engagement.
