Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance abuse needs, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique circumstances and challenges.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs identified in assessments, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based interventions.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities appropriate for varying client needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards and legal requirements, using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track client progress.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

• Engage in case reviews and treatment planning meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to enhance client care.

• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, assisting clients in acute distress and implementing safety plans to support their well-being.

• Stay informed on current research, trends, and best practices in mental health and substance abuse treatment to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client population experiencing varying degrees of mental health conditions and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, with a focus on mental health.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
