Joyful Journeys Mental Health Services is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists (including LMFT, LMHC, and LICSW) to join our team in a remote outpatient setting. Our full-time positions, located in Quincy, Massachusetts, offer a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, allowing for competitive compensation while making a significant impact in the lives of our clients.

Work Environment\n

This position allows for a fully remote work setting, blending flexibility with a structured routine. Our therapists typically operate within standard office hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required for patient needs. Our outpatient office in Quincy serves as a hub for collaborative team meetings and consultations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify the needs, preferences, and goals of each patient.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to individual client needs.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, addressing common mental health issues while creating a community among participants to share experiences and strategies.

• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, equipping clients with immediate support and coping strategies.
\n
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, various treatment options, and community resources that may support their recovery journey.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring the integrity of client records.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to stay abreast of advancements in the field.

• Continuously update clinical knowledge and skills, seeking out new research or therapeutic techniques relevant to mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse population, containing individuals, couples, and families facing a spectrum of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. A strong cultural competency and an understanding of unique challenges faced by various populations are essential for effective therapy practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, including diagnostic criteria, treatment approaches, and therapeutic techniques.

• Proven experience in conducting mental health assessments, developing and executing effective treatment plans.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to provide individual and group therapy to diverse client populations.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for the establishment of trust and rapport with clients.

• Strong ethical judgment and adherence to professional standards and boundaries.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using computer applications relevant to mental health practices.

• A collaborative spirit, with a readiness to actively contribute within a multidisciplinary team dynamics.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with two or more years of relevant experience in a mental health or therapeutic setting will be given preference. Experience conducting group therapy and working in outpatient environments will also be advantageous.
