The Brightside Health Center is seeking a passionate and driven Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for a full-time position based in our outpatient office in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This remote role will allow you to provide vital mental health services to young adults, specifically within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for individuals aged 18 to 30 years old. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have a range of responsibilities designed to facilitate healing and foster personal growth among our clients:

  • Group Therapy: You will lead engaging group sessions that allow clients to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other, creating a supportive communal experience.

  • Individual Therapy: You will provide one-on-one counseling sessions, focusing on clients' unique thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while helping them develop effective coping strategies tailored to their specific needs.

  • Treatment Planning: Collaborating closely with clients, you will create personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans that encompass their individual preferences and aspirations.

  • Progress Monitoring: You will regularly assess and track client progress through various evaluation methods, ensuring that treatment remains effective and relevant.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be the young adult population, particularly those navigating mental health challenges. You will engage with clients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress-related issues, emphasizing empowerment and resilience in their recovery journeys. Your work will play a crucial role in helping them rediscover their potential and foster meaningful connections.

  • Must hold a valid Massachusetts Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

  • A Master’s degree in a related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.

  • Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and practices.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to compassion and collaboration.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience working with young adults in mental health settings, particularly in outpatient environments.

  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapies, CBT, DBT, or similar methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Brightside Health Center also provides a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
