Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Step to Freedom Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Implementing effective consultation processes for creating pre-crisis and crisis management plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans.
\n
• Ensuring timely completion of all required documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to monitor client progress and inform treatment decisions.
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute positive behavior support plans that pave the way for client success.
\n
• Participating actively in the licensing and accreditation processes to uphold our organizational standards and service quality.
\n
• Serving as a liaison to various service systems, state agencies, and community partners to facilitate client access to needed resources.
\n
• Maintaining open lines of communication within the team and community to ensure alignment with contract standards and the agency's mission.
\n
• Establishing partnerships with local and state agencies to explore new opportunities for program growth and resource acquisition.
\n
• Engaging in continued personal and professional development activities, including attending conferences, workshops, and relevant meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a wide array of patient populations, including individuals dealing with emotional health issues, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. Your approach will focus on fostering resilience and promoting recovery, enabling clients to engage meaningfully with their communities and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field.

• Possession of an independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license, or eligibility to become licensed in Massachusetts with financial support from the organization.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience working in outpatient settings, particularly with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
