Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations to accurately identify client concerns and needs, ensuring the development of personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's situation.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, case managers, and community resources, to coordinate comprehensive and holistic care pathways for clients.

• Respond to emergency situations by providing immediate crisis intervention, utilizing your clinical expertise and empathy to support clients experiencing acute psychological distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Therapists at Family Guidance Therapeutic Center will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing an array of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. This role requires cultural competence and the ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet the unique needs of clients from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• Demonstrated ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships with clients, showcasing excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Capacity to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, exhibiting cultural sensitivity and understanding.
