You will be working collaboratively with a diverse team of licensed mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and case managers, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to mental health treatment. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive mental health assessments and screenings to identify clients' emotional and psychological needs accurately. Create individualized treatment plans that encompass the unique goals and challenges of each client, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to their circumstances. Lead individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that are effective in treating various mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Coordinate with fellow treatment team members to develop an integrated care plan that addresses both the psychological and physical needs of clients. Educate and support clients' families, fostering involvement in their loved ones' recovery process to enhance overall treatment effectiveness. Maintain precise and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practice guidelines. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic serves a diverse population, including individuals facing varying degrees of mental health challenges. Qualifications Active and valid license as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) . A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline is required. Demonstrated expertise in mental health counseling obtained through formal training or relevant clinical experience. A robust comprehension of evidence-based practices for a broad spectrum of mental health disorders is essential. Exceptional therapeutic and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and motivate clients throughout their recovery journeys. Excellent interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary treatment team. Preferred Experience Previous experience working in a community health setting is preferred, particularly with diverse populations facing various mental health issues. An understanding of trauma-informed care principles and familiarity with crisis intervention techniques will be highly advantageous.
