Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments tailored to each patient’s unique history and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster patient healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aiming to help patients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective assistance.

• Educate both patients and their families about trauma response, coping strategies, and the resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and detailed documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferred, with a strong focus on trauma-related therapies.
