Oracle Solution Architect — Presales & Solution Strategy (Enterprise Applications) Edison, NJ | Travel: 30–40% Our client, a global tier-1 IT services and consulting firm, is hiring a senior Oracle Solution Architect for its enterprise applications and cloud practice. This is a functional, customer-facing role for someone who knows the Oracle application landscape from the business process side and thrives in presales: shaping deals, running executive workshops, and owning the solution story on large transformation pursuits. It is not a hands-on technical build or development role. Responsibilities Lead Front large Oracle pursuits from early engagement through close: discovery, solution workshops, RFP responses, orals, and executive alignment Own the functional solution strategy, defining scope, differentiators, and the parameters that make each solution specific to the customer, with strategic input on pricing, estimation, and related technical topics Advise client executives on legacy-to-cloud modernization roadmaps (EBS, PeopleSoft, JDE, and similar estates moving to Oracle Fusion applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Connect presales, solutioning, and delivery so commitments made in the pursuit carry through to execution Identify expansion, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities within existing accounts and guide account teams on pursuing those opportunities Maintain strong client relationships post-sale through structured governance and proactive escalation management Qualifications 13–16 years of experience across Oracle enterprise applications, with deep functional command of one or more Fusion pillars (ERP Financials, HCM, SCM, EPM) and working knowledge of the surrounding cloud and OCI landscape A genuine presales track record: value engineering, TCO/ROI business cases, points of view, and solution presentations delivered to CXO and SVP audiences Experience leading multi-stakeholder engagements and large, complex transformation pursuits at a systems integrator, consulting firm, or enterprise software vendor Comfort operating as the senior functional voice in the room, translating between business stakeholders and technical teams Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field Ability to work onsite in Edison, NJ with 30–40% travel Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship (US citizens or green card holders) #J-18808-Ljbffr Claddagh Resources
