Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 4 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred.

Unit Details: Cares for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients on the medical-surgical unit. Includes IV therapy including blood products, epidural management, care of acute post-op wounds, sterile technique, vascular patency assessment, and use of glucose meters, IV pumps, PCA machines, and Omnicell. No IV team. Lift team available 0530-0000. Phlebotomy available 24/7 from lab. Unit secretary available 1000-2230. Hospitalist coverage 24/7; no intensivist.

Shift & Scheduling: No call required. Weekend coverage required.

Floating Requirements: May be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience on MedSurg floor preferrable.
