Duties include, but are not limited to:Maintain a clean and safe environment and ensure that all safety equipment is functional and inspected as necessaryTrain and supervise beach attendants, pool attendants and waterfront porters.Ensure the staff understands what is expected of them and that they have the proper tools to do their jobs successfullyPerform all staff duties including, but not limited to, renting cabanas, setting beach umbrellas & chairs, towel service, end of day clean up and resetAnticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of dayResolve guest issues promptlyControl access to the private beach to ensure hotel guest use onlyMaintain a professional appearance & friendly attitude towards guests, other employees and management staffAdhere to and practice the Chatham Bars Inn Service Standards at all timesWhat are we looking for?Qualifications:Current certification in CPR & First AidMust possess a valid driver’s licenseMust be an energetic and personable leaderMust have strong organizational skillsMust possess excellent written and verbal skillsAbility to work independently, as part of a team and well under pressureAble to multi-task in a busy environment, one where interruptions are expectedSuperior problem solving abilitiesAbility bend, crouch, stoop, climb, twist and lift and move up to 60 lbsAble to stand for long periods of timeMust be flexible with schedule and work weekends and holidaysIntermediate computer skills required as department involved three operating software programsCompensation:$18.00 / hr$19.00 / hrPyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
