Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify the emotional, social, and environmental factors affecting patients' recovery through patient interviews and comprehensive review of medical histories.
• Offer specialized counseling to patients and their families to address adjustment issues, emotional distress, and coping strategies associated with rehabilitation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in conjunction with the rehabilitation team, focusing on patients' psychosocial needs and aligning them with medical goals.
• Facilitate access to essential community resources, including support groups, vocational rehabilitation services, and housing assistance, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding available resources post-rehabilitation, thereby empowering them for successful transitions back into their communities.
• Actively participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to home or additional care settings, always prioritizing patient safety and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse group of patients who are navigating various challenges related to recovery from injuries or disabilities. This role demands a sensitive approach to individuals facing significant life transitions and emotional adjustments, whether they are students returning to school after an injury or adults reintegrating into the workforce. Understanding the full scope of each patient's journey will play a critical role in tailoring therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A strong foundation in understanding adjustment issues, grief, and coping mechanisms across diverse age groups.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building rapport with patients and collaborative relationships with colleagues.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in a rehabilitation or medical setting will be preferred. Experience working with educational institutions is also beneficial, helping to bridge the gap between health care and educational success for our student population.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide:
