Human Resource Coordinator

Our Law Firm is seeking a highly organized, discreet, and detail-oriented Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator to support the Firm's day-to-day HR and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a professional services environment, can handle confidential information with care, and is comfortable supporting attorneys, staff, and firm leadership.

You'll play a vital role in fostering a positive, compliant, and efficient workplace environment. Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting activities, including posting job openings, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and maintaining applicant records.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire materials, coordinating paperwork, and helping ensure a smooth employee experience.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, HR records, and related documentation.
• Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, paid time off and sick time requests, benefits administration, and payroll-related coordination and administration.
• Respond to routine employee questions regarding firm policies, procedures, and HR processes, escalating sensitive matters appropriately.
• Help coordinate employee communications, training sessions, firm events, and compliance-related reminders.
• Support updates to HR policies, employee handbooks, job descriptions, and internal forms.
• Provide general administrative support to firm leadership and office management on HR-related projects.

Experience

• 1 year prior experience in human resources, office administration, legal administration, or professional services support required.
• Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel; familiarity with ADP, payroll, and applicant tracking systems.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support multiple team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in employment compliance, workplace policies, and law firm operations is a plus.
• Prior experience in a law firm preferred.

Part - Time position

Compensation

Commensurate with experience. $25 - $30 per hour.
