About the Position

A 99-bed hospital in Arizona is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist for locum tenens call coverage. This is a hospital-based, call-only assignment with upcoming dates in August and November.

Current Coverage Dates

• August 15, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to August 16 at 8:00 a.m.
• August 16, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to August 17 at 8:00 a.m.
• August 17, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to August 18 at 8:00 a.m.
• August 18, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to August 19 at 8:00 a.m.
• August 19, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to August 20 at 8:00 a.m.
• November 28, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to November 29 at 8:00 a.m.
• November 29, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to November 30 at 8:00 a.m.

Additional dates may be available through December.

⏰ Schedule and Call Details

• 24-hour call-only coverage
• Average callback volume of approximately two to six hours per day
• Approximately three to four surgeries per week
• No scheduled clinic responsibilities listed

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based assignment
• 99-bed facility
• Two permanent physicians on staff
• Cerner EMR
• Robotic surgery capabilities available but not required
• Disposable flexible cystoscopes available

️ Required Procedures

Candidates must be comfortable performing:

• Ureteroscopy
• Laser lithotripsy
• Transurethral resection of the prostate
• Transurethral resection of bladder tumor
• Flexible cystoscopy

⭐ Preferred Procedures

Experience with the following is preferred but not required:

• TRUS biopsy
• In-clinic vasectomy

✅ Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Active Arizona medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification in hand
• Active DEA registration
• Minimum of one year of experience
