We are a large organization adding to our Accounting department of 8 people. This person needs to be a team player, we cross train all our employees so they can help out where necessary. Must be detailed, organized and have a great personality. Most important is that this person fits in with our fun team who gets the job done. No one on the team has been here less than 8 years. So we have great employee retention and you get to work with a fair, fun boss.

Prefer someone who did accounting in a manufacturing company so you understand freight and delivery language on invoices. Necessary experience in the following areas:

A/R, process cash applications, discrepancies, 3 way matching, payments, A/R statements, ACH, wire transfers, reconciliations, month end. Credit experience including establishing credit limits, credit ratings and minimal Collections. (8 calls a week). Check sales orders and packing lists in preparation for billing. Posting transactions, funds disbursements, and total accounts to the ledger.

Office support: Handle calls, order office supplies, send samples via FedEx.

Billing & Data Entry: Post batches and email invoices, delete unposted shipments, Monitor email boxes.

Must have MS Office Suite including Outlook.
