We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Health Therapist for a full-time position at Lakeportside Mind Rehab & Wellness Center, a leading rehabilitation center in Toms River, New Jersey. In this role, you will be integral in guiding patients on their journey to regain mobility and achieve optimal physical function. Through evidence-based assessment, tailored treatment plans, and continuous motivation, you will help improve each patient's quality of life and movement potential.

Our state-of-the-art, 5,000 square-foot sports medicine facility is equipped with the latest advancements in physical therapy technologies. We specialize in orthopedic outpatient care, primarily catering to clients with private medical insurance. Work Environment

This position will operate onsite in our rehabilitation center, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. You'll join a dedicated team of two licensed physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) that values teamwork and shared success. The scheduled working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the individual objectives and requirements of patients in a healthcare setting.
• Effectively manage a patient load of one client per hour, ensuring timely and quality care delivery.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing a diverse set of treatment techniques tailored to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Foster an encouraging and motivating environment, guiding patients throughout their treatment to achieve their functional goals.
• Lean into evidence-based practices to deliver personalized interventions that ensure favorable outcomes.
• Promote patient education on a healthy lifestyle, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and improve overall patient outcomes.
• Continuously assess treatment effects, monitor patient progress, and maintain open communication with patients regarding their rehabilitation journey.
• Document all services and care accurately within our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Explore alternative therapies to reduce dependency on medications and minimize the necessity for surgical interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. These individuals range from athletes to elderly clients seeking rehabilitation post-injury. By utilizing a personalized approach, you will ensure that each patient receives treatment that addresses their unique needs and goals, ultimately promoting better functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Clear of any board actions or disciplinary measures affecting your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in rehabilitation science.
• Familiarity with EMR software platforms such as WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly valued.
• Experience in developing and conducting personalized exercise regimens that cater to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
