Our facility boasts a modern 5,000 square foot design dedicated to sports medicine, equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technologies. Our team currently comprises two licensed physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all striving to offer superior care primarily to patients with private medical insurance. Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our rehabilitation center in Toms River, NJ, where we emphasize a professional yet supportive environment that fosters collaboration and continuous learning. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. You will find yourself in an engaging atmosphere focused on providing quality orthopedic outpatient therapy, working alongside a passionate and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess the physical needs of each patient to identify goals and objectives for their rehabilitation.
• Plan and implement effective treatment strategies, managing a patient load of one patient per hour.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies and diverse treatment techniques to create individualized care plans.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and interventions designed to enhance mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall physical functioning.
• Monitor patient progress continually, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in a timely and accurate manner using EMR platforms like WebPT.
• Consult with healthcare professionals to coordinate optimal patient care and enhance treatment efficacy.
• Empower and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, promoting adherence to treatment and long-term wellness.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle, educating patients on the importance of exercise and preventive health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We primarily serve clients who are looking to recover from orthopedic issues, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our practice is known for taking a personalized approach, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to the individual needs of our diverse patient population. By focusing largely on patients covered by private insurance, our staff works closely with individuals seeking effective and high-quality physical rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must possess a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions by any licensing board.
• Strong background in manual therapy techniques and proven ability in developing comprehensive exercise regimens.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR software platforms, particularly WebPT, is preferred.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment focused on patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
