Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Wellpower, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and diagnosing mental health disorders in individuals and family units.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that address the unique challenges presented by each client.

• Facilitating therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, focusing on improving communication and resolving conflicts.

• Providing referrals to external specialists and community resources as necessary to enhance care continuity.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in line with regulatory standards.

• Participating in regular team meetings and case consultations to provide comprehensive care while receiving peer support and guidance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues.
\n
• Effects of psychological and physical abuse.
\n
• Management of grief and loss.
\n
• Family conflicts, including sibling disagreements and cut-offs among family members.
\n
• Challenges stemming from job-related stress and medical issues.
\n
• Supporting blended families during periods of transition, including remarriage and navigating separation and divorce.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Valid and active LMFT license in the state of Florida.
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in outpatient settings or those familiar with telehealth practices are highly regarded. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy, will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
