Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in various specialized units, including Cardiac Telemetry, Med/Surg Telemetry, and Surgical Telemetry. Key Responsibilities Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of a licensed physician. Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to individualize patient care plans. Direct nursing support staff in the delivery of care according to established standards and policies. Utilize knowledge of current nursing principles, theories, and techniques in all patient interactions. Monitor and manage cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Nitro, and Cardizem. Provide basic nursing care, including assessing the needs of stroke patients. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the relevant clinical specialty preferred. Licenses: Current PA Registered Nurse License. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required. Experience: Travel experience is required. Work Schedule Weekend Requirements: Must be available every 3rd weekend. Holiday Requirements: If applicable, availability during holiday periods is expected. No float to other units. Patient Care Ratio The nurse to patient ratio is typically 4-5 patients to 1 nurse.
