Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to identify mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Leading therapy sessions with couples and conducting individual counseling to address personal and relational challenges.
\n
• Facilitating discussions on sensitive topics such as grief and loss, job stress, communication difficulties, and family dynamics.

• Specializing in areas including but not limited to alcohol and substance abuse, conflicts among family members, blended families, and adjustment during separation and divorce.

• Collaborating with other mental health professionals and specialists to ensure a holistic approach to care.

• Documenting client progress and adjusting treatment plans based on therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve providing services to a diverse client population, including adults, children, and adolescents facing various psychological challenges. You will become a critical support figure for families experiencing distress, equipping them with the tools to handle interpersonal conflicts and improve communication. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates are required to possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in working with diverse family systems, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities are highly preferred. A demonstrated ability to manage a caseload of clients effectively and to adapt therapeutic techniques to various situations will be advantageous. Flexibility in schedule, with a minimum availability of 30 hours per week, will also be beneficial.
