Location: Remote within the United States

Travel: Monthly in-person business reviews in Houston, TX, or Los Angeles, CA, plus client visits as needed

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 annual base salary, plus uncapped commission and performance-based bonuses

We are an established international logistics provider expanding our U.S. operations. Our services include ocean and air freight, customs clearance, trucking, warehousing, and domestic distribution, with strong coverage across Asia and Southeast Asia.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to develop and grow U.S. importer accounts, focusing on Asia-to-U.S. trade lanes. The ideal candidate has established U.S. client relationships, a proven record of new business development, and the ability to sell integrated import logistics solutions from origin pickup through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business with U.S. importers, distributors, retailers, and e-commerce sellers.
• Build on existing client relationships and generate new opportunities to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Sell integrated logistics solutions, including ocean freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, customs brokerage, drayage, warehousing, and domestic distribution.
• Develop relationships with decision-makers across supply chain, procurement, and operations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements; negotiate pricing and contract terms.
• Coordinate with overseas offices, operations, and customer service teams to support shipment execution and client satisfaction.
• Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and carrier rate changes to identify business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance reports.
• Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of sales experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or NVOCC services.
• Established U.S. client relationships and the ability to generate business within the first 3–6 months.
• Proven sales experience in U.S. import logistics, particularly Asia- and Southeast Asia-to-U.S. trade lanes.
• Strong understanding of import processes, including Incoterms, ISF, customs clearance, drayage, and domestic distribution.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory remotely.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel for client visits and monthly business reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Established relationships in the Houston and Gulf Coast markets.
• Client networks in retail, consumer goods, industrial, petrochemical, new energy, or recycling sectors.
• Experience working with Asian-based freight forwarders.
• Experience with Amazon FBA shipments and retail distribution center deliveries.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and transportation management systems.
