Work Environment\n

The position is remote, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with clients across the Bronx, New York, and beyond. Our practice operates Monday through Friday, with a standard schedule of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some degree of flexibility may be required to accommodate the needs of our patients. This work environment prioritizes collaboration, allowing therapists to interact with one another and partake in case consultations without the constraints of a physical office.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to thoroughly understand patient needs, leading to the development of customized treatment plans.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to deliver effective counseling to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster community understanding and awareness of mental health issues, enhancing patients' coping skills.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to ensure integrated patient care that addresses all aspects of mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring clients have access to immediate, safe, and compassionate care.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, potential treatment avenues, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, adhering to all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and a familiarity with a range of evidence-based treatment models.

Compensation and Benefits\n
