Paralegal

Job Description Daughtry, Woodard, Lawrence & Starling is seeking a detail-oriented, Paralegal t to join our team. This position is fully in-office (hybrid is not available), supporting two attorneys across a broad range of civil practice areas including local government, real estate, civil litigation, probate, estate planning, traffic, business, and domestic matters. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable interacting with clients in person, by phone, and through email. This Role includes the following tasks: Assisting attorneys in daily tasks related to the above mentioned practice areas; Calendaring deadlines and tasks; Draft documents for review by attorneys; Communicate with clients respectfully and promptly regarding their matter; Work with staff to manage schedules and facilitate completing work in an effective manner; Analyze data and prepare summary charges. Maintain and update case/file status information Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately Schedule client meetings and attorney appointments Support office organization and workflow Assist with matters related to civil cases across various practice areas Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality Required Qualifications Experience working in a law firm Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional demeanor and strong client-service mindset Proficiency with standard office software (Outlook, Word, etc.) Strong attention to detail Notary certificate or willingness to obtain it. *The salary range is based upon qualifications and experience Company Description #J-18808-Ljbffr
