Desktop Support

Our clientis seeking a Desktop Support to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, hands-on troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to cybersecurity and reliable operations—skills that will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Desktop Support Location: Madison, WI (Onsite with statewide travel required) Duration : 9+ months with highly possible extension / conversion Pay Range: $29 - $31 / hr. on W2 What's the Job? Provide maintenance and support for Wisconsin Court System software and hardware for court customers across the state. Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software in county courthouses and court system offices throughout Wisconsin. Deliver professional technical customer support to court system employees and take corrective action to resolve issues. Perform field service to upgrade hardware and resolve technology issues efficiently and effectively. Respond to unplanned events (including system failures or natural-disaster-related impacts) to restore production systems. What's Needed? Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support or related technical support work. Associates Degree in computer science, computer technician, or a related field. Ability to set up computers, related peripherals, and audio/visual equipment. Knowledge of local and wide area networking, including implementing infrastructure hardware and addressing technical emergencies. Ability to implement and follow cybersecurity policies, with excellent customer service and strong verbal and written communication.
