Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual therapy sessions to adult clients, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy tailored for those coping with chronic pain and psychological distress following workplace injuries.

• Conduct weekly psychoeducational class sessions, empowering individuals with knowledge and strategies to manage their conditions effectively.

• Facilitate brief individual consultations for clients in our Functional Restoration Program (FRP), monitoring their clinical progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

• Perform thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the specific needs of your active caseload.
\n
• Utilize clinical best practices informed by contemporary research in pain psychology to ensure high-quality care.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the clinic to provide a holistic approach to patient care, making appropriate referrals to complementary modalities as needed.

• Document all client interactions and progress in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus for this position will be adults who have experienced injuries in the workplace. Many of these individuals face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and the complications associated with chronic pain. Qualifications\n
