This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic kitchen team while delivering exceptional dining experiences to our valued guests.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of our culinary operations, overseeing the kitchen’s daily activities, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. As a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef, you will not only manage kitchen staff but also contribute to menu development and maintain a cohesive team environment. We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $73,000 annually, alongside opportunities for professional growth and development in the vibrant restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
• Assist in menu planning and development, highlighting seasonal and local ingredients
• Maintain inventory levels and manage food costs effectively
• Ensure consistent food quality and presentation, adhering to restaurant standards
• Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal working condition
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide seamless service
• Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues professionally

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef in an upscale environment
• Strong understanding of culinary techniques and fresh ingredients
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
