Speech-Language Pathologist/Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
READS Collaborative is seeking a speech-language pathologist/speech-language pathology assistant to provide direct speech services to elementary, middle, and high school students in a local school district for the extended school year. ESY program runs from July 7th through August 6th. Flexible hours and competitive pay in a supportive environment.
Principal Responsibilities
- Provide direct and consultative speech services to students
- Adapt instructional techniques to the age and skill levels of students.
- Maintain thorough student records to document attendance, participation, and progress, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
- Use data to write students' progress notes for students with IEPs
- Prepare lesson plans in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) and the functional abilities or needs of students.
- Establish and maintain standards of behavior to create safe, orderly, and effective environments for learning.
