Job Title HR Shared Services Specialist Location West Palm Beach, FL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week) Duration 12 months (06/01/2026 – 06/01/2027) Pay Range $21–$24/hr on W2 (DOE) Job Description Provide day-to-day HR shared services support to employees and managers through an HR service portal. This role supports the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, benefits administration, I-9 verification, and offboarding while ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant resolution of HR inquiries. Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition teams to resolve employee issues and maintain HR service quality. Maintain HR knowledge base content, support HRIS data accuracy, and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience initiatives. This role operates in a fast‑paced HR shared services environment requiring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple employee inquiries while ensuring compliance and service excellence. The ideal candidate is process‑oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working across HR systems and cross‑functional teams. Job Functions Provide frontline HR support by responding to employee and manager inquiries via HR service portal Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, benefits administration, I‑9 verification, and offboarding Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant resolution of HR requests and cases Maintain and update HR knowledge base content to support employee self‑service Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate HR process inefficiencies, gaps, and compliance risks Support HRIS data entry, updates, and transactional accuracy across systems Partner with Payroll, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition to resolve HR‑related issues Assist in HR process improvement initiatives and service delivery enhancements Track, document, and maintain records of HR cases, requests, and service metrics Support HR shared services projects, audits, and operational initiatives as needed Skills/Abilities Strong HR operations, HR shared services, or HR support experience Experience with onboarding, benefits administration, I‑9 verification, and offboarding processes Experience working with HRIS systems and HR service platforms Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with customer‑facing experience High attention to detail and strong data accuracy Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high‑volume environment Process‑oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to quickly learn and connect end‑to‑end HR processes Experience in process improvement or HR knowledge management is a plus Must be able to work in EST or PST time zones Experience 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, HR shared services, HR support, or related HR administrative functions.
