Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients' physical therapy needs to define goals and develop individualized care plans while collaborating closely with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Administer therapeutic interventions that align with each patient's specific condition and the physician's prescribed plan of care, ensuring adherence to all ethical and professional standards.
• Evaluate progress and outcomes through ongoing assessment and effective communication with patients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, assistive devices, and home exercise programs, ensuring understanding and compliance for effective recovery.
• Manage your caseload by prioritizing patient needs, coordinating daily assignments, and maintaining clear communication with team members regarding patient progress and treatment adjustments.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in compliance with state regulations and institutional policies, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the entire care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be specifically focused on assisting a diverse patient population, including both adults and children, many of whom are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply, as no previous experience is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience
