Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; strong CFs considered
• Previous experience working in school settings is an asset
• Solid understanding of IEP development and documentation
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students
• Develop individualized education plans in collaboration with educators and families
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports
• Provide consultative support and training to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team activities
