Inside Sales / Account Manager

$75,000 Base + Commission

 

About the Role

A growing company is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Inside Sales / Account Manager to take ownership of an established customer base and play a key role in retaining, developing, and growing accounts.

This is primarily an account management and sales position focused on building strong customer relationships, increasing sales, and identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts.

You will work primarily over the phone with customers and key decision-makers, taking ownership of your accounts and making sure you are consistently staying connected, following up, and looking for ways to grow the business.

You will be given an established book of business and will be responsible for strengthening customer relationships, increasing account activity, identifying accounts that are slowing down, and creating opportunities to expand each account.

There will also be an opportunity to develop new business and bring in new customers, but the primary focus will be on managing and growing the existing customer base.

This is a hands-on sales role for someone who enjoys working with people, is confident on the phone, and is motivated by the opportunity to build relationships and increase sales.

• Experienced in sales, particularly inside sales or account management
• Confident and personable with strong communication skills
• Proactive and persistent, with strong follow-through
• Skilled at retaining, upselling, and growing accounts
• Organized and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple accounts
• Computer savvy and comfortable using a CRM
• Results-driven and motivated by performance and earning potential
• Professional and committed to building long-term customer relationships

 

Ideal Candidate

• 2+ years of sales experience
• Strong background in inside sales, account management, or relationship-based sales
• Comfortable picking up the phone and speaking with customers and decision-makers
• Proven ability to grow existing accounts and increase sales
• Experience with upselling, cross-selling, and customer retention
• Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, driven, and accountable
• Comfortable learning new products, systems, and processes
• CRM experience is a plus
• Industry experience is not required

 

This is a full-time, in-office role.
