Simon’s Hardware and Bath is a New York City showroom specializing in luxury plumbing fixtures and architectural hardware. For more than a century, Simon’s has helped designers, architects, contractors, and homeowners find products for distinctive spaces.

We’re looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our showroom sales team. You’ll work with existing clients and walk-in customers, learn their project needs, recommend products, and build relationships that lead to sales. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys design, customer service, and developing a career in sales.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establish and develop new customers, sales opportunities, and maintain positive business relationships.
• Use a consultative approach to identify clients’ needs and provide support throughout the entire sales process, from order placement through delivery and installation
• Understand the importance of monthly sales goals and targets.
• Prepare competitive bids/quotes for clients on all project sizes.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency by following up on all open quotes and sales leads.
• Effectively communicate with multiple departments (Purchasing, Operations, Accounting) to support and troubleshoot all facets of sales orders.
• Convey accurate product lead times to clients, communicate special-order requirements, and submit expedited shipping requests to manufacturers.
• Attend product trainings and remain current on all products and related promotions.
• Respond to all client inquiries within the same business day via phone/email.
• Project a professional company image through customer and vendor interactions.

• Strong follow-up, organizational, and time-management skills
• Commitment to maintaining a customer-first, sales-focused mindset
• Previous luxury sales or customer service experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• On-site in Midtown East, New York, NY
