Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the developmental needs of children.

• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to each child's needs.

• Monitor child and family outcomes as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, making data-driven recommendations for service adjustments.

• Utilize natural environment teaching methodologies to deliver effective coaching and guidance to families.

• Collaborate with families to foster strong relationships, ensuring they feel supported and informed about their child's development.

• Implement service strategies based on evidence-based practices and individual child and family priorities.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations related to early intervention services.

• Provide resources and support to families to enhance their child’s development through workshops, informational sessions, and one-on-one consultations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays and their families. Working in this capacity, you will help children acquire crucial skills in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication domains during their formative years. Every interaction will emphasize acknowledging each family's unique circumstances and cultural contexts to deliver culturally competent support.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Licensure with the Connecticut Department of Public Health is mandatory.

• Must hold LCSW credentials.

• A valid driver’s license is required for potential in-person visits.
