Psychiatry Open Track/Rank – Addiction Program Faculty OSU Wexner Medical Center Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health seeks faculty members (open rank) to join our Addiction Program and enhance our research mission. Responsibilities Faculty responsibilities include advancing an externally funded program of research, publishing research in high quality peer‑reviewed scientific journals, mentoring trainees across all academic levels, and participating in division, department, college and university committees and initiatives. The specific research focus within the field of substance use disorders remains open, though expertise in randomized clinical trial designs, overdose risk, and treatment recovery is especially encouraged. Qualifications Applicants must have an advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D.) with specialization in Psychiatry or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program, and follow accredited training pathways in alignment with suitability for licensure and clinical practice in Ohio. In some cases, individuals with substantial research programs and funding but without clinical training or eligibility may be considered (e.g., Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience) provided they are actively interested in training clinical professionals and supporting clinical care.
