Desired Skills & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential.
• Proven classroom experience, ideally with middle school or 8th grade students.
• Strong background or familiarity with math instruction and differentiation.
• Ability to implement a mix of inclusion (push-in) and pull-out strategies within Special Education.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to consult with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and support to a caseload of approximately 13 8th-grade students, focusing intensively on math.
• Conduct both push-in and pull-out sessions in alignment with students’ individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collect and monitor data, evaluate student progress, and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to co-plan and adapt math lessons that empower all learners.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student goals, achievements, and ongoing needs.
• Maintain compliance with all required documentation and educational standards.
